LEAVE ENTITLEMENT

a. Casual leave                     : 8 days per year
b. Restricted holiday             : 2 days per year
c. Earned leave                     : 30 days per year (15 days will be credited on first january and july per year)
d. Half pay leave                   : 20 days per year (10 days will be credited on first january and july per year)
e. Extra-ordinary leave          : Leave without pay
f. Maternity leave                  : - 180 days (admissible to women employees with less tha two
                                                                                     surviving children)
                                              - 45 days in the entire service (admissible to women employees for
                                                                                     miscarriage/abortion)
g. Paternity leave                  : - 15 days (admissible to male employees with less than two surviving
                                                                                     children during his wife's confinement)
h. Child Care Leave             : Women employees having minor children for a maximum period of 730 days
                                                                                      during their entire service
i. Special casual leave           :  1. Union activities (max - 20 days in a calender year for attending union
                                                    meeting and conferences)
                                               2. Sports events/cultural activities/Family planning/Blood donation
                                                      /Natural calamities/Band

ENCASHMENT OF EARNED LEAVE
1. 300 days during the time of reitrement
2. 10 days during LTC journey (6 times in the career)
